Feel free to download and use as you like. These are hi-res images and can be printed in any color.

I had made these for a CSR initiative of my company. This and a couple more designs were screen printed on cards and sold to our staff to raise funds. Thought these might help you begin a new love story this Valentine’s day. : )

Singapore Street Fashion

Singapore Street Fashion - 1

Singapore is super fashionable, though a tad predictable sometimes. Thankfully, the island is such a mishmash of nationalities that if you go the right parts of the city, you get to see some great fashion outside of the usual branded bores. I tend to lean toward the eclectic dressers, mixing high end with street cool, designer sunglasses with rainbow hair, etc.  I also love Korean fashion in all sorts of drapey, futuristic shapes. And as in the illustration above, my absolute fave is Japanese street style in Singapore. Their use of color, personal style choices, quirky accessories and shoes make them stand out among a sea of short shorts and LV Neverfull bags. Japanese men too wear the best suits and their hair is always on point. The only trend I have a little trouble getting behind is the ultra dramatic fake lashes.

I am working on a few illustrations of hair. The idea came from Paroma, who is doing her own hair experiments, I suppose. Of course, it’s not just hair with me, like the beautiful, delicate and realistic stuff here. It’s full drama, obvi.

European streets illustration

In the blistering heat of South East Asian summers, the visual of a hilly little Portuguese village is a bit incongruous. But it’s also somewhat like time travel. In the center of Macau, away from the gaudy casinos and futuristic lights, is the colonial Portuguese quarter — full of dark old churches, tiled and cobbled streets, and pots of hot pink bougainvillea and ranunculus.

My husband and I sat here on green park benches dating back to the 1800s. He had a cream soda to cool off, while I did a quick sketch.

No bra blog

… where the bra comes off.

The best part about coming home, at anytime, from anywhere, after anything, is that you can take off that awful device and just breathe.
